Join us for an opening reception of a new exhibition of children’s book illustrations at The Manes Art & Education Center. Picture This! The Art of Children’s Books on view until January 12, 2020, features a selection of illustrations from The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art and the work of 22 contemporary children’s book artists.

Families can help to plant a pollinator garden at the Manes Center. Children (and adults) will be delighted to learn about the magic of milkweed, coneflowers, yarrow and beebalm in creating earth-friendly habitats.

PLANT SALE: Reserve in advance to ensure that plants are available. Reservations close on Thursday, September 12th.
