ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Alicia Whitaker’s work as an executive leadership coach and consultant supports her gardening habit.

A Master Gardener since 2021, Alicia has long been a home gardener and active participant in the East End gardening community.

She is past president and board member of the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons, and 1st Vice President and Horticulture Chair of the Westhampton Garden Club.

She is an active member of the the Alliance for Pollinators, the Suffolk County Pollinator Pathways Task Force, and the Pollinator Team responsible for the Quogue Library Pollinator Garden, now in its third year.

In addition, Alicia co-authored The Sidewalk Gardens of New York with Betsy Pinover Schiff, and still finds time to garden at her Westhampton home.

Alicia holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts /Amherst and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
