ReWild Board and Chapter Announcement for 2023
Dear friends of ReWild Long Island,
We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our board with the addition of four highly skilled and passionate individuals: Len Green, Nancy Erber, Gloria Frazee, and Beth Sutherland. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in conservation, and we have no doubt that they will be invaluable assets to ReWild as we grow across Long Island. If you would like to learn more about them, please visit our website.
We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to Paul Merkelson and Patty McGuigan for their dedicated service on the board. Their contributions have been invaluable, and we are grateful for their commitment to the mission of ReWild Long Island. We are grateful to Paul for his leadership of the Community Composting activity at the ReWild Garden at Dodge, and we look forward to continuing to work alongside him.
In 2023, we are excited to announce that we will be organizing our activities around four local chapters located in the Town of North Hempstead, Mid-Suffolk, South Nassau, and the East End of Long Island. This expansion will allow us to better serve our community and continue our work towards a sustainable future.
We invite you to join us in this exciting new chapter for ReWild Long Island. Your local activism is crucial to our mission, and we look forward to working together to make a positive impact in our community and beyond.
